Dear Family,

We all witnessed the disastrous earthquake that occurred in Haiti on January 12, 2010. Our thoughts and prayers are with all hose who are suffering from this tragedy.  We have seen the images on television of the wounded; children roaming the streets looking for their parents and orphanages completely destroyed. The Lord has called us to act in difficult times and together we will answer that call!

It is for this reason that Alpha & Omega Church has joined the organization His House Children's Home to help the children of Haiti. "His House" has been approved by the federal government as one of the only two entities in the United States to provide a home for the children hit by this tragedy. We will be participating in a special project that will rehabilitate a property, both the interior and exterior, to house Haitian children, so that they can live in a safe environment. Many of these children have lost their parents, their homes, and they have been moved out of their city and their neighborhoods. They deserve a decent and stable home where they can feel the peace of God. This project has an associated cost of approximately $ 25,000, a small price to quantify compared to the incredible loss these children have suffered. We know, believe and declare that for our God nothing is impossible. We encourage you to be a part of this great blessing and collaborate as God directs you to.
